Hangover

10-3-2024
Alex Natipadab

Everyone is a bit hungover this morning, not your typical hangover but the hangover you get from high adrenaline, high energy, blood pumping Wahoo fishing. Haha. With our arrival ETA to our next destination not until early afternoon, everyone took advantage the beautiful weather and slept in to catch up on some rest. Upon arrival we were greeted by gorgeous conditions as we arrived at our Halibut honey hole, we were able to add a few nice 20-25 pound Halibuts to our 29.7 degree RSWs with also plenty of shorts and Bass (which were released) to keep our afternoon occupied. Easy pace, glassy ocean, good company, and a Seabass dinner to finish off the fishing portion of the trip. That's a fine finish in my book. Next waypoint: Point Loma

Today's cover photo is all-star angler, fishing engineer, the one and only Dr. Chris Minnick. Chris was able to land one of the few nice Halibut that was captured today, no surprise there!
