Darren L: Royalstar Sportfishing is the best in its class. I have been fishing on this vessel for over 20 years, and they always provide 1st class service. You must reserve your spot a year in advance to secure your spot on your trip. But, be assured, it will be the best experience of your life.

Ken B: I went on my first long range 7 day trip on the Royal Star out of fisherman's landing in San Diego. I can't say enough good things about this Operation. From my welcome by Tracy, the treatment by the Captain, all of the deckhands , the chef and the cook / server I, was treated first class all the way!

Sammy k: The operation really as good as it gets. I have fished the boat many times from 5-10 day trips. The boat is always well kept and the crew works hard. One thing that stands out from the ret of the great boats in the fleet is the quality of the food

Steve L: Simply stated the Royal Star is the best of the best. The Royal Star pioneered RSW (refrigerated recirculating salt water) fish holds, handling and storage. Awesome fishing, and the quality of the tuna I took home would be the envy of the very best sushi bars in Japan.

Scott L: Best fishing boat I've ever been on. Deck hands are spectacular. The cook is top notch. The captain knows where the fish are what more could you ask for???

Working M: Great boat, food and crew. But what really separates the RS from many other LR boats is how the handle the processing of you fish.
As soon as your fish is recorded. It's bleed, rinsed, gilled, gutted and in the RSW faster than you can get ready for a picture. Amazing speed which sets them apart from the other LRF fleets. I feel the way they handle the fish, the tuna/sashimi caught on this boat is restaurant quality, if not better.

Ruel B: If anyone deserves a 5 star review it is Royal Star Sports Fishing. I have never been on a long range trip before, just 3/4 day trips, so this was a new experience for me. First off let me start with the boat, 92 feet of well kept sea vessel. The crew were constantly cleaning and making sure it look good. The state rooms were clean, and the beds were larger than what I was expecting, enough room to move around and by no means cramped. The bathrooms were cleaned daily, if not more often.

Phil W: FIVE STARS! I've taken yearly long range trips on the Royal Star for nearly 20 years. The crew is outstanding and extremely professional. The food is unbelievable. They have 2 really good chefs on board for each trip. I always catch fish - just check out my picture! :-) This is the TOP boat in the fleet as far as I am concerned.
