A perfect response to yesterday's bust one all day anchor job did the trick. Premium grade, 50-70 pound yellowfin were the stars but a few handfuls of beautiful yellowtail, including two over 50 pounds, crashed the party. All day long, in addition to the action on "primos" every bait, and I do mean every, was a bite. Between the primos, yellowtail, and 25-40 pound yellowfin, the vast majority of which were released, every angler by days end was spent. Reveling and reeking of the the days magic we headed up in beautiful weather sated and ready to switch gears for coastal action tomorrow.
