A move inside supplied the beautiful conditions sought and plenty of good time at the rail fishing. That said catching fell a little short. A near 180 degree change in morning current set up a long lull that made for little alternatives other than to wait it out. And wait we did adding a couple of fruitless tours into the equation until the long awaited change in conditions finally occurred. And with it came the sign of fish, incredible sign acutally, that sold this destination. Sadly they did not arrive with a hearty appetite. We did scratch up a few, and added a little variety in the way of yellowtail to the catch, but the giant, tantalizing school of bluefin overall lived up to their famous reputation snubbing the majority of our offerings. So be it. Closing on a fine note all enjoyed the traditional prime rib extravanganza in superb comfort. Behind a big island in the grease calm lee stories were shared and spirits flowed as highlights and good times were remembered. Heading in tomorrow Captain Natipadab will take the helm on the next four day offshore adventure. Final voyage Photo features Royal Star angler Brent Stansfield with fine coastal  bluefin landed in the final hour.
