Woke up today on the anchor fishing for day time action and a more civilized ride. Fishing for a little peace from the angry ocean was great, but the fishing for day time Tuna was not. So we pulled the anchor and headed back to the land of many trophies. Pattern is holding true; epic sign all over the place in the afternoon. Size LARGE on the sardine and lighter gear always poses a challenge. A couple for our efforts anyway. Once the light bulb turned off, the action turned on. Short window of opportunity but its opportunity nonetheless, pumped out a dozen absolutely gorgeous fish for the night. Every bite so far this trip has been absolutely a grind to get. We'll take it. 



Today's spotlight: My crew having some fun! These boys mean business and have a huge passion for what they do, most importantly always holding up that Royal Star high standards! I'll put my money on these guys any day!
