We departed yesterday morning with the good time guys of "Las Rocas". Threw on a nice load of bait, got everyone together for lengthy detailed refresher seminar, and rigged up right for the fishing to come as we cleared the point. Weather man is calling for some not so pleasant working conditions, high wind and steep seas, but it's nothing the Royal Star can't handle. After a nice siesta, we arrived on scene ready to rock. Nice sundowner drift got the trip started on the right foot! Might time was the right time once again as the Bluefin always let their guards down. Day 1 and night 1 ended providing almost one 100 plus pounder around. I'd say that's not too shabby of a start! We'll see what day 2 brings.....

Today's cover image is a snapshot from our little sundowner stop. Left to Right: Steven Leiphardt with his personal best, Kevin Seeger, and Randy Karsting. The Royal Star veterans got the party started with some nice grade Tuna!

Image 2: First time Royal Star angler Andrew Gibson with his first big fish experience!

Image 3: Chef Hein came out as a passenger and showed everyone that he can fish as good as he can cook!

Image 4: Nice action on a biting stop last night.

Image 5: Royal Star little grom with a 225 pounder!
