Teleport

Opted to try a little anchor fishing to start day 2. Consistent reports of 20-40 lb Bluefin that actually bites a bit during the daylight hours sounded very pleasant. Found ourselves a parking spot and right away saw good sign. Slow pick at best throughout the morning hours with a dozen or so to show for, we decided to pull it and get back on the big fish hunt. To our unpleasant surprise; the Bluefin decided that they were going to teleport to another dimension again. We drove around all afternoon and few after dark without stopping the boat. Not exactly the way we wanted to finish the trip. That's Bluefin Tuna fishing for ya! Thank you David Hilton for putting together a fantastic group of anglers! See you next year.

We're headed home now, will hit the reset button and come back out for 3 days with the boys of "Las Rocas"

Today's photo is an image from last night. Feature goes to Royal Star all-star angler,  my good friend, Cole Yoshida of "Yoshida Customs". Cole had the hot hand last night and was able to secure his quota. What a beautiful grade of fish!
