Picked up right where we left off. Strong finish with a quick couple dozen BFT to wrap up Steve Tsujiuchi's trip, to a good start with Larry Brown and the gang.
We departed yesterday morning 5/13 with the first of a back to back ultra limited load 3 day trip with Larry Brown and 12 of his friends. Finger on the pulse with colleagues on the grounds we point the bow SW. The narrative has been disappearing fish during the day, float in the late afternoon and bite like heck when the lights turned off. Such held true. Couple opportunities before dark on 100-150 class BFT, and not wide open but good opportunities in the dark on the same grade fish. Night 1 was not as fruitful as we expected, a nice go around on mid hundred pounders; we'll take it. We'll see what the day 2 brings.
Today's photo: Banger stop 100-170 lb fish just before the sun came up, ending the night on a high note.
