Bittersweet feeling this morning for the crew as the sun rose on the last fishing day of the 2023 season. It's been a long season pretty much running everyday since March 26th. Tired and a little banged up, some time off seems like much needed. Yet we're also wishing we can keep on fishing. With that said we wanted to go out with a bang, and bang we went out with. Capped the night off with a few more hundred pounders and rolled right in to the gray light with a 4 hour long drift. Textbook way to finish off the trip. Epic way to finish off the year. 

 

Today's photo honors goes to Erick Michaels. He might be just a kid but the kid is one heck of a fisherman! Such a pleasure to see the next generation come up. Erick started off the season strong back in early spring with a good night bite, last night he finished off his 2023 season with a beaut of a Bluefin at 175 pounds, his personal best! Way to go kiddo!
