Fish Report for 10-15-2023

Fine start

A great beginning to our fishing phase with a sprinkling of late afternoon and morning yellowtail action that segued into epic fishing for beautiful, 30-35 pound class yellowfin tuna. A perfect pace, three hour drift set us right on day one. Keeping ourselves in check we helped ourselves to a heaping portion of good fortune while saving room to accommodate plenty more down the road. Ideal weather was the finishing touch. Tomorrow will find us in the southern arena seeking classic Fall long range exotics. Plenty of time to enjoy the fishing, fine prospects, and a great weather forecast offer the kind of promise we live for.

Photo today features Humboldt Fishin’ Lumberjack legend John Blevins showcasing one of his beautiful yellowfin tuna landed today.
